Aishwarya Rai is set to make a Comeback in Mani Ratnam directorial
When the question is about the comeback of Bollywood’s beauty queen Aishwarya Rai, there is no surprises that there were a lot of speculations and conjectures flying around the internet for last few years.
She was last seen in the Silver screen back in 2010 with Guzaarish and since then she has maintained a low profile due to the pregnancy and now finally we have got an official news on her comeback.
Mani Ratnam‘s wife Suhasini confirmed that the actress will star in her husband’s directorial. It’s reported to be a bi-lingual Tamil-Telugu spy thriller, which is expected to be inspired from(not remake) Mission Impossible and Bourne Identity.
She said, “Tamil-Telugu bi-lingual film, a spy-thriller, an espionage film like Mission Impossible and Bourne Identity”
Aishwarya initially made her debut with Mani Ratnam’s Irruvar way back in 1997 against Mohanlal. She later worked with him in films like Guru(2007) and Ravan(2010). It’s quite interesting that the diva has chosen Mani Ratnam’s bi-lungual Telugu-Tamil film for he comeback despite of many eye-catching offers from leading Bollywood Directors and some Hollywood offers as well.
The shooting is set to commence from June onwards. Mahesh Babu, Shruti Hasan and Nagarjuna will play pivotal roles in the film and Aishwarya is reportedly paired opposite Nagarjuna.
