Many sources say Justin Bieber is still not completely over Selena Gomez. He tried to date her again in March, only to get rejected. And he knows it's unlikely they will ever get back together. Gomez even reportedly changed her phone number recently so Bieber couldn't contact her anymore.
Still, Bieber was hurt by Gomez's rejection. He also knew how much Gomez was hurt during their relationship. He doesn't want to hurt anyone — or get hurt — so soon after.
Bieber isn't ready to commit to anyone right now. Indeed, a source told E! News that Justin Bieber and Sofia Richie "were never officially together, but more casual hanging out and having fun."
