Unless you've been walking around with ear muffs on for the last six months, then you'll already have heard singles Havana and Never Be The Same, so instead check out track three She Loves Control above.

The last time Camila featured on a full length album was in May 2016 alongside her former bandmates Fifth Harmony.

Speaking to the New York Times, the singer explained that her ex bandmates' reaction to her attending writing sessions with producers like Diplo, following her 2015 solo collaboration with Shawn Mendes, was the straw that broke the 'Camil's' back.

"I was just curious and I wanted to learn and I saw all these people around me making music, writing songs and being so free," she said.

"I just wanted to do that and it did not work."

She added: "It became clear that it was not possible to do solo stuff and be in the group at the same time.

Elton John is officially a fan of the album.

On his Beats1 Radio show earlier this week, he told listeners he loved Camila because "she's just so gorgeous and so much fun and she's got a great voice and she has great attitude."

He said: "I think 2018's going to be an amazing year for her. I have never met her. Never spoken to her, never, but I just love her."

The Guardian gives the album four stars, saying "the Havana hitmaker makes breakups look easy".

The Telegraph describe it as "pop with a side of salsa" and gives it three stars.

Four stars as well from the NME which claims Camila "absolutely nails it on her debut solo album".

Before hitting the hay last night, the singer promised she would be "crying at your reactions in her dreams."

Tears of joy we hope.
