Jessica Gao was hired as showrunner of the Disney + series
Emmy-winning writer for Rick and Morty's episode “Pickle Rick,” Jessica Gao hit Marvel Studios to lead She-Hulk, the new MCU series on the Disney + (via Heroic Hollywood) streaming service.
In addition to working as a writer and editor for Rick and Morty, Gao also has stints in Silicon Valley and Robot Chicken.
Bruce Banner's cousin, lawyer Jennifer Walters receives a blood transfusion from the original Hulk after being shot by mobsters of mobster Nicholas Trask. With that, she becomes She-Hulk. Unlike her cousin, Jen can maintain control when she assumes the green-skinned identity, feeling even more confident when transformed.
In its heroin years, She-Hulk has already integrated the Avengers, Defenders and Fantastic Four. The release of Disney + in Latin America is scheduled for the second half of 2020, without a specific date. Already in the US, the premiere will be on November 12, with the subscription of $ 6.99 per month.
