be ahead of the 90's revival. wear with tights, doc martins, smashing pumpkins on your walkman (yes walkman not ipod) and bowler hat to give it an updated feel. then tear the arms off your denim waistcoat to fuck it up a bit. now thats 90's.
the humble maxi skirt is back. topshop have nicer ones then the stripes which are really only for thin people. if you have thighs like me, forget this pattern. unless you like looking bigger then you are. i went for a plain black one which i love. team with a rock -shirt belted at the waist with a belt that looks like it is falling apart. or a long shirt....
this will work next season as designers for next season have a love affair with texture. you can say you were inspired by christopher kanes leathery black affair with texture or alexander wangs sexy time with velvety mixed with leather fabric. or better yet. the furry escapades of chanel's new show....whatever your reasoning. this skirt rocks.
i'm embarrassed to admit I can't remember which designer showcased leather headbands and pvc ones on the catwalk. but here is a high street leather strap for your head. incase you want to jog yours and my memory. happy days
